2001 Camaro 3.8 base, having an issue with turning off the car, replaced the ignition switch no help. I have to tilt the steering wheel in order to cut off the car. I have the column torn down to the actual ignition actuator, it is loose, is it suppose to be? any help would be awesome if anyone has had this issue.

I personally have no experience here , but I'm gong to say "No" its not supposed to be loose. And make sure its clean underneath the switch in case that is how it "Grounds".
