Can anyone tell me how to tell what amps my alternator puts out. Thinking of installing high output cooling fans that draw 50 amps and need to know to make sure my electric system will handle it.
On the rear section of the case, on top, there is a series of stampings including the part# and date code. Part of the stampings will be 2 numbers followed by the letter A. The 2 numbers are the smperage rating.
