So I'm in the middle of doing the LS1 front brake swap in my 68.
I removed the hubs and had them ground down. The machine shop removed the races and bearings from the hubs and they came back clean. I forgot how I installed the passenger side hub, but it is now installed with the disc and caliper, all lined up perfectly.
On the driver's side, I put the inner race into the hub, and then I placed the bearing in the race, and now the hub will not fully seat on the spindle - it appears as though the bearing only goes a part of the way down on the spindle, that the spindle is too wide for the bearing.

Did I do something wrong?

If I just put the bearing on, it should go really close to the spindle, right?
