Interior paint color

I have a med blue interior with LaMans blue exterior. In trying to match up the correct interior paint i was told to use the exterior base color with a satin clear on any interior painted surfaces, dash steel etc., does this sound right?

Heres the paint codes for use in the interior of a 69:

Lemans blue was Ditzler code 2083 which is different than any of the codes listed above, so I would say your info is not correct, although it may look close when yoou are done.
