Ditto Eric. Wait 'til you get the engine back in and do some measuring. I've got an old one around here somewhere I'll be glad to take some measurements. That info is probably already here if you do some searches.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying don't do a search. I'm just letting you know may contradict itself. What you will likely find is some will say it fits but it's tight and others will say it didn't fit. (Example) a stock HEI fits my '67 by 3/8", but doesn't fit my friends '68 by 1/8". As I've been told many times in the past the only real consistency about our old Camaro's is the factory inconsistencies. Your best bet is to go aftermarket with an MSD set up. Otherwise for a good low cost set up convert your old points distributor to HEI with a kit.
depends on what engine mount setup you have.
if it has 327 or 307 frame and engine mounts, then it will fit.
if it has 302 or 350 mounts, then it won't fit.
same deal with header fitment- Dynomax headers, for example, clear a power steering box with 327 mounts, and Hedmans don't without using the Ford tool to make a dimple.
but the Hedmans will fit with the 302/350 mounts.
