So you are concerned that you will leave your car somewhere and some thief may come along and break into the car. Then either punch out the ignition switch or hot wire it and drive away?

Every classic car I have heard about being stolen since the turn of the century has been flat bedded or towed.

Reminds me a lot of the Chapman alarms and hood locks we installed briefly in the late 80's. IIRC pushing in the lock grounded the ignition so the car would not start. I'm considering something like this as an added security for my hood not so much for the ignition disable. I'm a locksmith by trade and will say the lock is only slowing them down IF they are trying to drive your car away. I removed a CLUB off a car this month like the Lockpicking Lawyer on YouTube and I'm normally not that fast.
