I'm thinking about new rims and tires, please help- I would like to keep them with stock suspension and 4 multi leaf springs, in the wheel wells without any modifications.

Front I'm thinking- 18 by 8 rims, 235/40/18 or 225's
Rears I'm thining- 18 by 10 rims, 255/40/18

are these to wide of rims? and tires?

With those size rims, you will want a 245 in front and a 275 in the rear! looks a little better.

I would love 245's in front and 275's in back but i'm not going to roll the fender lips and want to throw some on without issue. I heard that 245's with a front pax rub a little too.

18x8 fronts with 5.0" backspacing and 235 wide tires, 18x9 rears with 5.5" backspacing and 275 wide tires.
Im leaning towards these on TTII's.
or Foose Nitrous 5's 18 by 8.5 5/110 on 235/40/18 front

Here are 18x8 (225/40/18) 18x10 (275/35/18)
Boyd Junkyard Dog rims with B.F.G. kdw tires. No modifications
made to the 1/4's they are new and I have about an inch between
the rear lip and the tire. Front will rub very slightly If I have the steering
wheel all the way either way.

What about Foose legends or Nitrous
18 by 7 fronts- 235/40/18 4"BS
18 by 9 rears- 255/40/18 5.25" BS
Will this be an issue on stock suspension and original wheel wells?
i can't do 18 by 10 or 275 tires

My car is 22.75" from center of wheelwell to the ground in front and 23.75" in the rear.
Not sure how much lower you'd want to go...
Hmm, interesting that John from Driverzinc spec'd both our Rushforths but did 5" on mine and 4 7/8" on yours, must have been a reason. I bet its because your car is yellow :p

The 10" rim is a bit more difficult to fit then the 9.5. But will fit.
John - I luv ya :) - you know that but Frank is right. That 10" wheel in the back IS MORE DIFFICULT TO FIT. Your car is the exception. You seem to be able to get anything back there with NO drama especially at that ride height. Your car looks great with these wheels on it and it looked great with the AR200Ss. There are more than a few guys on this forum as well as some of the others we frequent that have given up on 275s on 10s or even 275s on 9.5s. We get back to all these cars are a little different and 40 years of wear and tear have not been kind as well as factory or replacement 1/4s. So it is possible to have to MAKE some extra room depending on the car. I'm not trying to contradict you but "1996jeep" you need to check your car real good before you spend your money. Try to test fit at least something close if possible. Keep in mind when the body rolls over curb cuts you will loose clearence. A little touching on the inside is no big deal but on the outside the fender lip will cut the tire. The "all these cars are a little different" usually comes up in the begining an this time it didn't so I just thought it should be said.

I know mine's been worked some but my point is they can be made to fit and while looking completely stock...heck,I still got room!
Don't laugh but I know I can get 285/40's to fit as well...just watch me.
