Re-Installing 1.5" lowering blocks on a 69 multi leaf springs. Does the rubber pad go on top of the lowering block in the rear end cradle or does it go below the lowering block on top of the spring. The other rubber pad goes on the bottom of the spring and the shock plate. I took it out a month ago to replace the rebuilt rear end and cannot remember, goes with age, I guess!!!

I left the rubber pad out when I installed the lowering block on my 69 Camaro

I have always left them out as well. I am sure they may help to isolate some road vibration or Noise but I could care less.

Leave the isolator pad out.
