Looking to lower my rear springs about 1 1/2 inch. I was thumbing through the Summit book and saw they sell lowering blocks for the rear end. Anybody use these? What is the disadvantage to these as apposed to buying springs that will drop the rear end?

I have 1-1/2" cast iron lowering blocks plus drop springs from Calvert on my car. The springs didn't get it down low enough so I added the blocks. It is very important to use the cast iron blocks. If you have decent HP you will crush the aluminum blocks.
