I have a 68' Camaro and looking to swap in a 99 corvette LS1 I bought a while back. I would love to attempt the swap myself but I don't think my mechanical knowledge is to that level yet and I getting the time has been a huge challenge lately.

I am not sure how to find a shop that specializes in LS swaps that does great work and still looks at keeping cost down. The question is could someone tell me of a shop like this not to far from Savannah, GA? Thanks in advance.

There are several shops up here in the Atlanta area, if you don't consider that to be "too far" from Savannah.

Is there a specific shop or shops you would recommend? Honest shop with quality work is sometime hard to find.

There's a place in Woodstock (about 30 miles north of Atlanta) called Atlanta Performance and Fabrication that specializes in LS work. A neighbor of mine uses them for his newer GTO and Corvette, and recommended that I talk to them about slipping an LS into my '69 Camaro. Their website doesn't show much about conversion work, but if they don't do it, I'm sure they'd know who does. Website link below.
