Will a Corvette LS7 oil sump fit in a 1969 camaro ??

There was never an LS7 in a Corvette - it was cancelled three months before model change. It WAS available over-the-counter, though, and that's where they went. The 5-quart LS7 pan (which was used in 1965-74 big-block Corvettes) won't fit in a Camaro, as the sump is longer and interferes with the rear of the front crossmember. You need the 4-quart LS6 pan, P/N 14081027 - it has a shorter sump and won't accept the LS7 windage tray. There are lots of other aftermarket pans that will fit (Moroso, Milodon, Hamburger, etc.), but they're more expensive.
