Hi, is it practical to take a 327 small journal block and machine it for a large journal 350 crankshaft? The same block was used for the 302, 327 small journal and the large journal 350 in 67.

Makes no sence to me. You could make a 383 for about the same price , and have a large bore. The 283 has a steel crank, and can be bored quite a bit more than a 350, but why do it?

Cost of new crank Vs machining ?

Power level you're looking at ?

Any power boosters ?

Use of vehicle ?

I would look for a new aftermarket crank...
