I have heard that its real important to use the correct master cylinder/pushrod diameter when you replace the master. I have a 67 that had manual drums all the way around and have installed wilwood brakes on the car and want a wilwood master as well. What size should I get and where is the best place to get it? Also I was not planning on running a proportioning valve, not sure if thats a good idea or bad idea?

I think the length is more important than the diameter. As long as the rod fits the cup it should be OK as far as diameter.
