My 2002 SS Convertible has low miles and only comes out on nice days. It only has 20K miles on it. Last weekend we took the car for a ride and it ran very rough. I used a code reader and the code read, misfire on cyl #1. I switched coils and there was no code but it still ran rough. I purchased a new AC Delco coil and replaced it. No improvement. I checked for codes and the new code read "multiple random cylinder misfire". I don't know where to turn next. Can anyone offer direction? The car is mostly stock except for some SLP goodies.

Check the plug wires to see if any have come loose or could be arcing and grounding out. Make sure the plugs are all tight as well. Check the battery cables, the original AC Delco batteries will rot the posts out from the inside, that happened to my old 2000 SS. What goodies are installed?
