For starters my name is John, Im 22 years old and currently serving in the military.

I bought a 68 Camaro in april, I have gotten it stripped down to the bare body which is how it sits now. I got excited when i started taking it apart and went and got the sub frame powder coated without thinking about test fitting or anything that is to come so we'll wait and see how that turns out.

build:
just purchased a 350 to be rebuilt
My dad is giving me a Muncie M20
Hotchkis front suspension
Undecided on the rear suspension
Chevy 12bolt
Boyd Fury wheels

Of course more decisions to come but thats the big pieces.

I dont have a huge shop to do the work in I have a very small 1 car garage which you can see in the pictures below


So you can really appreciate the size of this garage

First let me thank you for being in the military, you make me proud. Second, welcome to TC, there is a wealth of infomation here,and third....Nice Camaro!

Nice flag on the wall.
Who did the subframe?

Thank you I carried that flag on my back in Iraq

the subframe was done by:

Precision Powder Coating
757 368 2135

They were awesome to work with got it done fast. They do media blasting as well and will pick up and drop off whatever it is if its big. they are over by Lynnhaven
