Hey Mike the Chevelle is not going anywhere but I must admit this Camaro is the car I always wanted. I am probably going to use the gm ZZ572/720 shortblock with AFR 357cc heads. I expect low nines as my Chevelle runs 10.40 with a complete ZZ572/720R

Sounds Sweet Mike! Please post pictures of your progress. :) I guess you'll need that tall cowl hood with that 572 between the fenders! :D

Hi John,
My Chevelle is running A GM ZZ572/720R backed by a turbo 400 by Dynamic Trans in Ct. and a 4500 9.5" stall converter by Dynamic converters in Delaware. The rear is a gm 12 bolt with 4.10 gears and 30 spline strange axles and brute strength posi unit.I have owned the Chevelle since June 88 and it will always be in my collection. That hooks and runs 1.43 60' and [email protected]
I will post a crude video of my 10.41 see below

Looks good Vinny, that is a sweet Chevelle,I'm sure that Camaro will be an even stronger runner in time.I always wanted a '69 Z and after many years of looking, one fell into my lap a few years ago. Here's some pics of all three:
