Here it is. The build was started by a guy and well you know the story:D

Brought it home last weekend and will be finishing the build over the next few months.

A few of the Highlights

Amazing body and paint Corvette Jetstream Blue

Scott Mock Custom Front Sub with C6 Vette A-Arms Spindles and Rack and Pinion.

DSE Quadralink with Curry 9" rear and DSE mini tubbed

Forgeline Wheels

It will be an LS car either LS3/525 HP ot maybe the new LT1

Very Nice John.

Yup, it is easy to get burned out of project cars especially when too much of the work is outsourced and you don't start with a very realistic budget or lack deep pockets.

Should be a screamer once you are done!

I just might come by and take a look at it. Landed in Vegas about 2 hours ago!

I don't know how you find these cars John but what I do know is that it will be nothing but stellar when it is completed.:beers:

Nice, John.
Flush mounted front & rear windshields?
Might be a thought. I saw a few at SEMA. Some looked good and some like crap.

Have to do some research on it.

Looks like a great project John. Curious why an LS7 isn't an option for this one? Do you like the LS3 better for a reason? Or is boost in the future for this one?

LT1 would be cool, not too many builds out there with one yet.

LS3 is 20 HP more then the LS7 crate motors for $6k less

I'm also thinking about adding a ZL1 blower that can be acquired for under $3k

Looks awesome John! I always wonder why people give up on their project when it looks like all the hard work has been done already. I would love to finish up a project like that! Looks great! Look forward to seeing it done!

The other factors I have not yet researched are swap pieces needed such as adapter plates, headers, accessories, fuel systems.
I have only read bits and pieces on the LT1 speculating whether the headers would swap over from the Gen III/IV platform, and that the engine mounts were different as well. I also heard that the fuel pump is located under the intake cover? I haven't researched anything, so take it all with a grain of salt.

A few things happen to cause a car not to get finished.

#1 They under estimate the cost and time it takes to build a car.

#2 They loose interest

#3 Things happen in their lives that take priority. Family, kids, job changes, divorces, illness etc.

After careful consideration I ordered the LS3/525 GM crate.

The LT1 will have to wait for the next build.
