All I have is a 90 Camaro RS. I have a new 305 V8 in it. I'm getting some exhaust work done tommorrow so I need your help fast. I know I can't get glass packs, but do you think a flowmaster would be ok? I want it LOUD. What size tips should I get?

Any comments would be appreciated.

The flowmaster setup sounds real good...it isnt real loud but you'll notice it.

69 is right - if you go flow go for the 40 series - get an h-pipe and punch the cat out...that will sound sick.....I had that on my old iroc and it sounded like no other car in town..

Just yesterday I put a new exhaust system on my '68 327. Used dual 2.25" pipes with an H pipe cross over, and two Flowmaster series 40 Delta Flow mufflers. Very nice rumble, plenty of sound. The Delta Flow really does reduce the interior sound level, without much reduction in exterior sound. I can hear the radio but it is still obvious that I have a flowmaster system. Of course when I put my foot in it everybody knows it!

Don't use fartmasters, use the glasspacks. They don't sound like every other ththththththtppppptmaster.

I'd have to agree with the Flowmaster recommendation. 40's with a 2.5" dual exhaust are pretty loud, and bark pretty nicely. Sound pretty mean, in general, if a little too loud - I'm getting used to it (losing my hearing?!)
