I'm not sure if posting this is actually gonna help me find what I want but it's worth a shot. I used to own a 1969 Camaro. My father and I restored it for 3 years and it was in perfect condition. It was red with black racing stripes and the interior had black carpet and the seats were red and black houndstooth. It was in excellent condition. One day my father decided he really wanted a street bike so he sold it to a guy in town. I'm from Wichita, Ks and I don't remember the guy that we sold it to. Im currently looking for papers for the VIN number but I cannot seem to find any of the information on this car. It was sold about 6-7 years ago and I am wanting to find it badly. Even if the owner is not wanting to sale it... I have an offer. We sold it very cheap but I would love nothing more than to have my first car that I restored back. If anyone knows anything about this vehicle. Please let me know. Thank you, Monica Jelich

Monica welcome to Team Camaro, Having the vin number will help you a lot,, if it was sold local go to the tag office maybe someone there would do you a favor and see if the car is still in there system. If you find it post it in the Tag Team section here and if anyone has it in their database, they will chim in and let you know,, you never know there has been a few engines that found there way home to the original car they came in,Best of luck in your search for your Camaro,,,,, Frank

Monica any chance of old insurance policy with the VIN on it? Anything like that can help but dont hold your breath either.
Maybe call the insurance company and see if they have old papers or computer files with info. on it. Then post back. Also, contact the Kansas Camaro club and see if they can post your inquiry in their membership. They are a great bunch of folks there. Good luck too.

Monica, good luck on finding your first car. Do a search as stated above. It's worth a try. You never know.
