I want to order new tires and wheels tomorrow. I do not like large wheels on the front, so I plan on going 17" rear and 16" front. Torque Thrust II wheels in 16" are only available (per what I was told) in 7" with 4" backset.

So - will a 16"X7" wheel with 4" backset with a 225/50/16 Cooper tire fit the front of a 67?

PS - from what I've read (and I've read a ton) a Torque Thrust II 17x9.5 5x4.75" +8mm Polished with 5.5" B.S. will work on the rear with a Cooper 275/40/17 tire will work on the rear of a '67, correct?

Make sure you can get tires based on yiou wheel selections. 16's are very limited in sizes.

Personally I would use 17" on all 4 corners.

I agree with Vega$ on the 17's.

But yes the fronts and rears you listed should be ok.

I ended up going with the 16's up front and 17's in the back. I do like the look. I did have to settle for a 7" front instead of the 8" I wanted. I'll post pics when I get a minute.
