I'm going to install a fresh quadrajet and stainless hard fuel line from pump to carb on my SBC. The stainless pump to carb line is from inline and I have been reading posts on how difficult the stainless is to seal. Any experiences, tips or any suggestions are appreciated. it seems that the flaretite type seals are a option for leaking stainless hard lines, http://www.flaretite.com/flaretite.php
I'm just hoping I bolt it up and thats it.

I used stainless brake lines and stainless hard lines for fuel on my 69 Z/28.

I had no leak issues with brakes or fuel. No sealer, no Teflon tape (waste of time) etc. Just a good snug fit, not white knuckle.

thats my plan, snug tight install and good leak check after install. I just have always used plain steel fuel lines, I ordered stainless and it just occurred to me that its a harder metal and It may be harder to seal.
