Hey everyone,
After going through a crane unit and a pertronix electronic ignition unit, I have decided to upgrade to an HEI on my 68. The questions I have are this:
1. Do I need new spark plug wires when going HEI from points?
2. I have seen some posts about one of the wires I need being a resistor or ballast wire and that I need to replace this. Do I just cut it back and then install a new wire?
3. Has anyone ever used the Jegs Chevy HEI streetspark distributor? Anything I should look out for?
I am a novice when it comes to this and need some very clear help. Thanks for everyones help in advance.
