i just bought an 84 camaro with a 305 automatic. now i dont know really anything about cars but what i do know is that this car is a wiring nightmare. also ive been noticing vibrations when im driving, slow or fast it dosnt matter i still feel it. what could this be caused from? i notice it more when i go up hill. also how do i run a new excessory wire to my radio. is there a camaro's for dummies book out there? thanks

The vibration sounds like a drive shaft U joint failing.

I believe Dave is on to something. Look underneith your car. There should be a "torque arm" connected between the rear end and the tail housing of the transmission. I've seen those torque arms get bent and throw the drive shaft out of alignment which would cause your problem. The proper drive shaft alignment is achieved when a line projected out the end of the transmission is paralell to a line projected out the end of the pinion. This way, both U-joints are bent at the same but opposite angles and vibration is cancelled.
