Hi All,

My name is Carl, I am new to this site. I live in the Buffalo NY area. I have a 69 Z/28 ( X-77 ) that I have owned for about 19 years. I am looking into doing a restoration on it. It does not have the original DZ motor and did not when I bought it. So the next best thing was a 396 punched out to a 402. After I do restore the car to where I am satisfied, it will be driven. I could never not drive it.

I want to keep it as original as possible as the tranny, rear end and other parts are in tact. I like the idea of changing to a 502 motor and puttting those emblems on the side of the hood plenum, but who knows.

I am always looking for more info on 69 Z's as they are my favorite.

Wecome Carl,
I am originally from WNY and know the area well.
In case you don't already know, Camaro Specialties south of Buffalo would be a great resource for all your resto needs, and the Ontario Camaro Nationals are in Niagara Falls 6/8-6/10.
