I am new to this site and hope to get information from those that have already faced the hurdles in putting a '67 RS/SS back together as correctly as possible.I have a '67 RS/SS 350 4 speed that has been in the body shop for 3 years - as soon as I make room to bring it inside I am going to go get it. I'm sure there are some of U familiar with this story. When I purchased the car it did not have the 12 bolt or rear traction bar (one part is still attached under the floor pan, fortunately), wrong engine and a TH350 inplace of the 4 speed. I have several big blocks but am inclined to go back with a 350 as original though I do not have a '67 350. Hoping to get it to at least look correct. Have most of the parts except rear traction bar to complete. Just can't get any one reliable to do paint and body work. I will add power disc brakes and power steering - getting old and lazy. Any help on where to find a traction bar and attaching hardware will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TC. :beers:

Look up cpodeep (Scott) as he has an 67 RS/SS that he went through a lot of trouble with (finding the right parts, & NOS stuff).

You can click on my name,go to my friends to find his name, click it, then you can get in contact with him...if you like.

67s are great. I think Rcks first Gen sells the radius rod and parts. I am sure it will be expensive though. Great year, post some pics...
