Hi everybody,just pulled my 69ss 396 out of storage for 12 years. paint and interoir look good. it now has a 468 big block with the original squareport heads and manifold. motors coming out & bone stock 396 is going in. is it possible to find a matching # block, guys bare with me Im new to this.

I think you mean a "Numbers correct" block....which would be, correct casting and possibly even correctly dated.....(and yes it is possible to find)

Because "Numbers Matching" around this place means "Born with" from the factory w/partial VIN stamped on block (if applicable)....

Would love to see some pics of your ride....post a few when you get a chance.

Can you tell if this is a true ss big block car by the vin #? How do I post Pictures?

The VIN will only tell you if It was a 6 or 8 cyl. from the factory...not the exact engine....
