How new of seats can I use before they changed the tracks for the seats? I want to get more modern seats in my Camaro but dont know what newer seats will fit or if the sliders can be mounted to some after market seats with ease? Any help with this would be great!!!!!! Can you go up into 70's or even 80 with the chevy seats? thanks again!!!

I have 2001 Camaro seats in my 69. The front bolt holes line up perfect. The rear ones need to be cut, repositionedand rewelded into place. It shouldn't take much more than a an hour to do. If you do a search on here you will find that someone posted a couple of pictures on where to cut and repositiion. If I find it I will post it.

Talk about timing. I was just checking out a pair of 2001 seats at the local salvage yard a few days ago. That's the route I am going to take.
