I need a quick answer because I need to drive my car this afternoon. On my way home last night I turned my lights off. When I turned them back on, they wouldn't come on. No tail lights or wipers. I checked the fuses and they are ok.

If the engine starts, you don't have headlights and wipers...
Check the ground connections under the hood. Should be a small ground strap from battery (-) to the right inside fender. Perhaps a problem with that ground lead.

Tony,

I had a similar problem years ago. It seems the lights would go out intermittantly (even while driving). What was really strange was if I pushed the parking brake in and let it go really fast (hard), they would come back on! I asked an oltimer about this and he explained that the two fusebox halves (inside and outside) are attached to each other with two screws. He told me to check the screws and sure enough, one was so loose that the two halves were making intermittant contact! I tightened them both up and no more problems! It's an easy fix that a lot of people miss... I'm not saying this is what your problem is, but it's an easy check.

It has happened to me that I check the condition of the fuses just to find them OK. After some time I found they weren't making good contact cause of rust on the metal fuse holders. Good luck...

thanks for all your help.

But, I did pulled a stupid. I grabbed the wrong fuse. It was my headlight fuse that was out. The fuse that I first pulled out was my wiper fuse. So thats why my wipers didn't work.

Thanks again

That's hilarious
.
I'm laughing WITH you. I think that we have all done something like that before.
Glad it was an easy fix.
