Can someone please help me with the parking lights for a 68 convertible. The contacts on the fuse box are fine. I need a wiring diagram if that's possible. Or is there a common problem that this occurs. The headlights work fine there is just no dash/or marker lights.

A mutitude of wierd electrical problems can be traced to faulty, loose, rusted or freshly painted surfaces ground wire connections. You might want to check out all the grounds on the light harness.

Measure both sides of your TAIL LIGHT fuse with a meter. Scratch the clips that hold the fuse making a shiny spot. Measure the fuse clips with your meter. You should have 12 volts on both sides.

May have one of the output colors wrong but I think I'm close. Orange is a fused (Taillight) input power line to the switch. Problem is usually a blown fuse or corroded fuse contacts in the fuse block.

Red is the input 12 volts for the headlights.
Pull the switch on puts power on the blue wire. Blue is the output wire from the switch to the headlights.
Orange is a fused power input 12 volts for the dashlights and taillights (marker).
Pull the switch on and it powers green and brown.
Green goes to dash lights
Brown goes to taillights.
