I'm working on a '59 Chevy. It's got a manual box with the slave cylinder stuff. But most of the parts are gone. I've heard people are switching to a 605 power steering box.

First, are Camaro's boxes called "605" boxes?

Second, has anyone done such a swap?

Any help is appreciated.

As I remember, the 605 boxes came from Chevelles and Monte Carlos.
