You have some neat stuff laying around your garage.
Not a car you see often, L6 ragtop.

It had power steering, right?
Standard black interior?

Thanks!

Hey Kurt...I believe dealer is still around...I seem to recall seeing thier commercials on the television...if not lately, definitely in the past...

I don't recall too much of the car...I know I did not own it too long and two youngish 20 somethings guys came and bought it...I belive i sold it for 1500$...

I can't believe the reciepts I found and the paperwork for the cars I actually owned back in the day when you could buy these cars for a few hundred bucks...I will post the other build sheet I found ASAP...I also found a 69 vert bird protecto plate...its actually plastic...I'm really impressed by it...I'm really amazed, because I clearly remember the car...orange 350 4-spd with white top and interior, but I don't recall ever having the protecto-plate with that one...

I even kept files on many of the cars i parted out...I was really anal back then I guess...It's amazing how this stuff did not mean anything to me back then...now, it's really neat stuff(although it doesn't really mean anything to ME now, but sure would help someone else)..and maybe you guys...

anyway, I hope y'all enjoy and let me know if you come up with an owner...I'd be thrilled to give this stuff to the current owner...FREE!!

also, where can I post the bird protecto-plate...anyone know a website like this for firebirds?? I just can't get over this plastic protecto-plate...its almost like a credit card that you put in your wallet...really cool..(atleast to me)

Kurt,
My father's uncle has a 68 Camaro conv that my Great granfather bought new through his dealership (Cook Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Bristol New Hamphire) ... L6 with the torque glide or what ever that crazy trans was...
I will try to get copies of the paperwork for the car... it is in my great uncles garage in Peterborough New Hamphsire... original paint unrestored car...

I actually parted out an original 69 L-6 vert. rally sport...I eventually scrapped it once a fellow came with a sawzall and bought the rockers(those days prior to dynacorn sheetmetal)....I bought it in pieces in the NE Jersey area literally in boxes....I never even returned for the original six cylinder motor which was included... I believe I may still have the title in my safe deposit box

At the time I had no clue how low the production numbers are on those.
I'd love to have that car now for a driver...I had a number of L-6's over the years....coupes and convs...I used them for daily drivers..
