Anybody know if Van Nuys 1969 RS Z/28’s had Norwood DZ 302’s in them ? Or were the motors also made in LA ?
Also, I’m looking a a 69 RS Z that’s got a VN cowl tag instead of the LOS I thought it should have, anyboby have a explanation, please and thanks ~ JoRo

LA and Norwood are assembly factories and make nothing. Majority of bodies are made by "Body by Fisher"

GM Tonawanda Engine Plant or GM Tonawanda Powertrain, is located in Buffalo, New York, USA

Every 1969 302 engine was built in Flint, then shipped to either Norwood or Van Nuys.

All start with a "V" on the engine assembly code. V stands for the Flint plant. Up until 1966 engines built in Flint started with "F".
