Hi All,

For some reason I cant seem to seal my dipstick tube on the 396 in my 68. I am using a Moroso 6 quart pan and a chrome dipstick tube. I have tried eveything I can think of silicone, "O" rings, and a combo of the two together.Nothing seems to keep it from blowing oil out of the pan when you stand on it. It acts like the engine is just building up to much internal pressure and it forcing the oil out. I did a leek down test and the worst cyclinder was at 8%, so I dont think its blow by???? Any ideas?? This is making me pull out what little hair I have left :D
Thanks in advance,
Nick

I've got a friend with a 383 that has the same problem. I'll be watching the thread.
