I want to get a inexpensive oailpan that will work with a 69 Camaro with a BBC and stroker crank. Im guessing I cant use my old stock oilpan. I dont really want to drop $240 for a oilpan after all Ive spent already.

Depends upon how long the stroke is. If the crank eats into the oil pan rails you will need a special pan and an external oil feed kit for a Mark IV block, or at least a special pan for a Gen V or Gen VI block. The oil pan would be the least of your worries, cam interference, and counter weight to piston skirt also come to mind.

Let me add some info if that helps.

This is a 1974 CE 454 .030 over and stroked to 486-489CID using a Eagle Rotating Assembly.

Have you tried your stock pan? My son and I just assembled his 496. Crank clears fine. I think that's a half inch stroker in a 454 (.060 over). Right guys?
