I searched and cant find an answer.
I see autolites 2936's but the part number doesnt exist.
I dont much like accel unless a majority of you guys swear by them.
I need a short plug part number for my car. in a good heat range preferred...
350
9.5-ish SCR
.485/.485 lift, 230-236 dur, 108 lobe
dbl hump heads, ported polished
preformer intake
1" spacer
650 double pumper

would like Autolite resistors in a good heat range. What are the Autolite short plug P/N's?

Autolite Racing plugs are short. I run 3934's, they are 14mm 3/4" reach plugs.

I have NGK yr5's in the car at the moment, but, its hitting header number 3 and I cant find a shorter plug.
I searched and cant find a good part number to start off with...help?

I have a DEAD miss and I cant figure out what it is. tried cap rotor wires, etc. now its down to the plugs...

put a timing light on each plug wire and look at the light and see which one makes the light skip flash. You shouldn't need short plugs....must have chevelle headers:yes:

well, an XR4 crosses to an accel shorty 0437s

an xr5 crosses to accel 0134 but no shorty(I think the only diff is heat range)

And the accel chart I have doesn't have any YR# NGK's

That ngk symbol deal I posted says X is booster gap and Y is a V-grooved. What a bunch of smoke and mirrors. Gimme a damn B8ES

Harley if it's on the #3 that is too close to the header change the plug wire or if you can the boot. The boot probably has a very small hole burned into it that is letting it short out onto the header. It happened to me a few yrs back with my old headers. You couldn't really tell just to look at it at first, but after driving around for 20 min to see if it went away the end of the boot had almost melted away.

Oops, didn't catch that you need taper seat. I think the only short taper seats might be the accels, not 100% sure though.
