My fuel system is stock but works well. Do I need to upgrade it?
Ok, parts to get:
1) Fuel pressure switch
2) Pressure gauge
If you are running a stock fuel pump I would upgrade to a higher flowing mechanical or electric pump. If your stock line is 5/16" I would replace it with 3/8". I would also add a fuel pressure gauge. You do not want it to go lean when you start spraying. You will also need to pull 2 degrees of timing for every 50HP of nitrous and go 1 - 2 steps colder on your plugs.
Here are two lists for you:
Must have
1. Fuel pressure switch
2. Fuel pressure gauge
3. Nitrous pressure gauge
4. High flow fuel pump
5. 3/8" fuel line
6. Spark plugs that are 1 - 2 steps colder
7. Pull 2 degrees of timing for every 50HP nitrous
8. Read the directions carefully
Nice to have
1. Electronic timing retard
2. Window switch
3. Dedicated fuel system for nitrous
4. Purge kit
5. Bottle heater
