If you want to restore a car that has rust in the Cowl panel and to do a good job you have to pull the Cowl tag, how do you replace the cowl tag? You need the right rivets.
There are others who swap Cowl tags, and there is a place at the bottom of the lake/river for those people.
I paid about $30.00 for my rosset rivets (vin tag rivets) and didn't even use them. The only reason I bought them was because I had to replace the rusted out dash in my car. Being a newbie at the time I didn't even realize the rivets went in from the bottom on a 68' so I basically wasted my money. By the way, my tag is a 68 6cyl tag so no funny business here... I hope the guy sells them! I'd love to dump mine for that much money.
