I am trying to figure out why my 1995 camaro (3.4L) won't start. I did the diagnostic and it gave me a code 46, which is Pass key II circuitry. I would like to know if anyone knows what is wrong. I think it may be the theft detterent relay or module. (don't know where they are located). by the way i am in italy, so i have no chevy garage to take it to. thanks for the help.

Welcome to the Club, shrtrnd7. Sigonella, Been there, done that.

Read instructions on "No Start" from the Owner's Manual. It suggests to attempt to start. I fno start, wait min 3 minutes, and start again with same key. It should start.

Hopefully, this problem developed using the same key forever and not another key thrown in the bowl.

Yes, there is a module, over by the glovebox area, I think. And, there is a method to overcome, but, I don't know it.

Others here know of it, do a search.......
