hey guys my 68 is bogging down whenever i cut the wheel hard in either direction so much that the oil light is flikering it has a comp 274 cam and i have the idle set at about 1000 rpms it also has power brakes.it seems to do it worse when the brakes are applied.any suggestions. jeff

Make sure the advance curve provides good advance at idle. Try running vac advance to full vaccum at idle, not ported spark.
If you are turning full lock all the way, the engine should slow down then.

guys the vaccum advance is getting full vaccum at idle i have it coming off of the base plate of the carb.if the header was against the power steering box would this cause a problem.it seems to be doing it about 3/4 the way through the turn .thanks jeff
