Make sure it is not overfilled or underfilled.
Use PS fluid in there not auto trans fluid. The old caps say use trans fluid type A but the later PS fluid is better.
If your fluid level is too low or the system get's too hot, the fluid will foam and leak.
The later caps vent by a tiny slot on the underside of the cap. They are plastic and can melt if the system gets super hot. I've heard of this on open track cars. Should work OK on stock Camaros.
The 80's and up pickup trucks have a rubber splash shield that goes around the later model dipstick and can help.
Are you sure it is the cap that is leaking, if so you are way overfilled. The neck is another common leak area on the power steering pump housing. Commonly used to pull on to tighten up the belt and breaks the seal at the base of the neck.
