My 69 X-55 SS-350 came with a Power Glide, A/C, PW, 10 bolt 3.08

Sure they had Glides. Any small block (SS 350) auto trans cars had a Glide in 67 and 68, and up to a certain production date in 69, when it was relaced by the TH350.

Both the TH350 and Powerglide were available on SS350 for the '69 model year-the 350 did not replace it.
