I’m sure this topic has been gone over hundreds and hundreds of time but this is my first day on the forum.

I’m “doing” a 67 SS and the Powerglide is gone replaced with a T-350. The floor shifter needs to be converted and I guess I could get the file; grinder and misc tools out build the parts.

I would believe that some one makes a conversion kit? HELP and suggestions?

The next question is has any one done a TPI in a 67??

Hi Rick. Welcome! I'm gonna warn ya now.... this forum WILL become addicting and has been shown to cause extreme excitement in people that own First Gen. Camaros! If you want to search the entire database here, use the 'Search' link at the top right of each catagory. You'll usually find more answers than you need.

I know that WWW.SHIFTWORKS.COM has what you need for the trans conversion. They specialize in just this sort of thing and the parts bolt right in. I did the same swap and used them.

Good luck with yer project!

I did this swap and the only parts you will need to fabricate is the shifer lever (you can use one off another T-350 sometimes) and the conection to the shift down. Both are very easy to make, just make sure you get the shift down cable when you get the trans and also the shift lever is available. Yes you can also buy a kit, they're about $45 from places like classic and yearone or the sponsor of this site.
