Look at the case, they will be either alum. or steel. More than likely, alum., Ive seen more alum. than steel.

Hey James,
The glide has near square pan,the TH350 has near square pan with one corner cut off.The shifter on the glide will have 5 gear positions,the TH350 will have 6.The glide will have a 3 bolt servo cover pass side triangle shape,the 350 will have round servo cover w/ snap ring retainer also pass side.

POWERGLIDE IS FORGED INTO THE CASE i THINK IT IS ON THE "PASSENGER" SIDE ALSO A TH350 USES A CABLE KICK DOWN AND A PG USES A LINKAGE THAT IS MOUNTED WITH THE SHIFT LINKAGE A TH350 IS A DIRECT BOLT IN FOR PG AND IN MILD FORM IS A GREAT CHANGE FOR PG BUT IF YOU GOT LOTS OF GEAR STRIP ONLY CAR THE PG IS THE HOT SET UP IF ITS BUILT RIGHT
