Has anyone ever repaired one of these things? I have a place that the copper burned into. looks like you could solder it back together easy?? Just what to know if I'm wasting my time or not. Could buy a repro on from several of the vendors but price is $59 to $110 from what I've seen.

Scrape the copper clean, and use a low wattage soldering iron 15-25 watt, with a fine tip.use the 60/40 type solder.clean booth sides of the break on the board, and "TIN" it lightly with solder, and then use a small gauge wire to jump the break.Don't leave the iron on the board too long,as it will burn the board more.

i had a similar prob, i was able to repair it but i guess mine was too far gone, i was able to purchase another instrument cluster from the local auto salvage yard for $50 and just swapped out my guages into the housing i bought and now everything is working great. but again, the printed circut on mine was really screwed up, iwa also advised though that after you solder the copper leads, that you can use clear nail polish to stick it on the circut panel again.
