Well,

I would like to thank L78Camaro and others for their help this weekend and over the past week to verify the authenticity of a 1967 Camaro 396 L78 vehicle.

I drove to Virginia this weekend purchased it, and brought it home safely. The car needs some cosmetic work but is totally rust free with all original sheet metal and no dings.

It has a lousy paint job though and needs a new one for sure. Anyone know a good paint guy in Savannah, GA?

I contacted the dealership the car originated from, and have all the previous owners digits thanks to L78Camaro! Talked today with a guy who's sister dated the original owner. He knows a bunch about this car and is puttign me in contact with the original dealership owner that sold the car in 67.

The car currently is sporting a 454 with a M21 (original 4speed car) and runs quiet nice.

I'm pretty excited about this new addition to my family :)

Original Equipment needed:
1) Stock exhaust manifolds
2) Original rims
3) Fan shroud
4) Fan
5) Correct engine....

Cosmetic:
1) New paint
2) Headliner
3) Sail Panel

I drove it today at lunch and it is quite responsive and rides pretty nice.

I posted the tag earlier last week on this forum.

4K, console, delux seat belts, 4 speed, exterior decor.

3:55:1 posi. That's it.
