Well guys I finally made the move and bought my first camaro!! It is a 1969 rs, with a 565 big block, with a procharger. This motor produces 1128 horse power. I have owned the car for appoximately 2 months and have enjoyed every minute. Also, I initially saw this car on this web site in the classified section.

The block is a 540 merlin block which was bored out to 565 ci. The previous owner had the motor built by Par Racing in NC.

Awesome looking camaro. The various pics you've shared definately show that the car looks mean.......Any audio clips of her? Congrats on your acquisition, Just be careful with all that power.

I think the car looks awesome ... I would have the front headlight doors adjusted though. Mine are off also and it drives me nuts .. but your driver side headlight door is waaaay off!

PS- The wheels look awesome ! Size and back spacing ?

Awesome looking car. I am interested if the last owner started with a real Z/28. Any info on the cowl tag? Are you planning any racing?

This is not a true z car, it is a x-11 car with z28 emblems. I do have a local track within 30 miles, but i am not that eager to go race it. I get that question quiet often. People ask me all the time what it would run and all I tell them is the previous owner was hoping it would run the the low 5's in the 1/8 mile with a good drag radial. Also the previous owner said he never ran the car. I have owned and driven many fast car's (corvettes, camaro's, mustangs), nothing comparies to this car! This car pulls so hard even with these street radials. It would be a scary car with a good tire.

"You'll have nothing but trouble with that race'n type vehicle".
My step dad's words when I brought home my 61 Chev bubble top with a 350 horse 348. (1966) Did I listen? Na! Obviously I'm not the only one who didn't listen to his 'ol man.
Beautiful car.
I like the way the tach blocks the speedo. Any performance numbers yet?
