I asked the same question awhile back. It seems that everyone came to the same conclusion. It's not worth the trouble. Front crossmember, motor and trans mounts, distributor under the cowl instead of upfront, exhaust problems, oil pan trouble, intake and carb in the cowl area, it all adds up to being not worth the trouble. Good luck. Scott
i've seen a few bracket racer 93 and newer Camaros with old school small blocks in them, and they looked like they grew there. sure, the distributor would be hard to get to, and the cowl is really close to the back of the carb, but other than that it would be a bolt in deal- after all, an LT1 is just a one piece rear seal small block with the distributor mounted behind the water pump and goofy radiator hose hookups.
