Guys,
My '69 sits a full inch lower on the driver side rear. bugs the heck out of me and I need that inch back for tire clearence so i'm considering replacing the springs to fix it. However, I just noticed the front spring perch on the drivers side is mounted a full inch higher inside frame then the right side. Would u guys have a look at the pictures on the links below and let me know if this is normal or maybe someone over the years installed the wrong perch which is causing the problem.
Help and info appreciated. Thanks,
Steve

The one with the nut exposed is probably a Nova spring pocket if it isn't shimmed to sit where it is... Edit: Let me re-phrase that, the one with the exposed nut is a Nova spring pocket. I just went and looked at the Nova to be sure!

I put new spring mounts in mine after I redrilled the holes almost an 1" higher and cut a window in the tops so the spring eyes would fit to lower my car a schosh back there.

It help's the CG deal a bit if not mistaken.
