Ok here is the situation, It got to 96 Deg. a couple days last week, Car ran fine thru the winter, but now it wants to run Hot ( 180 + ) seems to wanna boil the fuel in the Carb bowls at these high outside temps and make me have to Baby the throttle. I have tried Float adjustments on the Carb to keep the sight plugs in check but still this happens.

Im not running a spacer due to clearence issues and the Carb is bolted to the preformer RPM, a Guy at a local spped shop looked at the car and reccommended going to an aluminum Be Cool Radiator and said this could solve my problem as it would significantly lower the coolant temps.

anybody had experience with such issues ?

180 to 200 is plenty cool for a car in that kind of weather. Rad. is not the fix for this as your rad. is doing its job if only 180+. (+ how much?) They make a thin plate to go under your carb to reflect the heat away.
