Question. While looking at my friends close to bone stock Van Nuys pacer, I noticed a rubber gasket across the top of the radiator support. I have never noticed this on any car before but maybe I just wasn't paying attention. Was this installed on every '69 Camaro? Was it just a cowl induction thing?
I've seen many "original" engine bay shots that don't have this.

That is part of the a/c package as Jonesy mentioned. It helps keep air going thru the radiator and not over the top it. There also should be baffels on either side of the radiator support to keep air from going around the sides too. :)

Thanks for the replys. I don't remember it having A/C but it must have. I was taking pictures of the correct RS hose routing and front wiring harness locations. I'll check when he gets back in town as I'm curious now.

Nice to find an original part on another car that isn't on mine that I don't have to track down!!
